Julie Hitzges, DNP, FNP

 Julie received her BSN from Daemen College and continued her eduction at the University at Buffalo where she completed the Doctoral Family Nurse Practitioner program. She graduated with honors along with receiving the Elder Research in Excellence Award. While attending UB, she participated in several medical mission trips providing care to the underserved communities of Haiti and Greece. She has 6 years experience as a Registered Nurse at Mount Saint Mary's Hospital specializing in medical surgical care along with post anesthesia recovery. In addition Julie worked at the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Niagara specializing in ocular sugery.

 

She grew up in Pendleton and currently resides in North Tonawanda. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, boating, and traveling.
